My Story

Hello — I’m Xina

I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Xina, founder of Xina’s Wellness, and I feel honoured to be part of your journey toward reconnecting with your body, mind, and spirit.

For years, I found myself in the all-too-familiar cycle: pushing through discomfort, ignoring the signs my body was sending me, adapting to low-level pain and stress as if that was “normal.” I prided myself on being strong and resilient — until I realised that strength shouldn’t feel exhausting. It shouldn’t leave you drained. It shouldn’t leave you disconnected from your own life.

When I began to explore bodywork, wellness therapies, intuitive healing and energy work, I discovered something powerful: true healing doesn’t come from pushing harder — it comes from listening deeply, restoring balance, and aligning with how you were meant to feel. My own transformation opened the door to a calling: I wanted to help others who sensed they were meant for more — more ease, more vitality, more life.

My Qualifications & Approach

Over the years I’ve trained in a variety of modalities. My first calling was through traditional science becoming a professional Home Economist (P.H.Ec.) and then embraced and pursued understanding of adjunct physical therapies like: Touch for Health level 1 & 2, Quantum Touch Level 1, both are bodywork modalities, and energy healing. Needless to say holistic wellness is my home plate!

I blend practical techniques with intuitive awareness, offering a holistic approach that serves the whole person: body, mind, and spirit.

My approach centres on these values:

My goal is to help you move from surviving discomfort to thriving with ease and presence.

Why I Do This

Because I remember what it felt like to doubt if “better” was actually possible. I remember the frustration of wanting to feel aligned and alive and instead feeling stuck. I remember the longing for relief, clarity, and connection.
And I also remember what it felt like the moment I realised I could feel bigger than my pain. I could feel strong and at ease. Awake and grounded. Connected and free.

If you’re here, you probably know that something in your body, your energy or your life isn’t how you want it to be. You might even feel like you should be able to push through. But you’re hearing the message now: you don’t have to wait. You don’t have to resign yourself. You can choose something different.

Outside the Practice

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll find me volunteering at Parkdale’s “In from the Cold” on Saturday afternoons in the cold weather; newsletter editor for my local Home Ec, Assn., conduct meetings as President of a BNI chapter, and love to walk with friends in nature, reading wellness books, meditating, spending time with family, creating healthy meals.

These practices keep me grounded, inspired, and aligned with the wellbeing I share with clients.
